Sense /ˈsɛns/

We experience the world through our senses, so what happens when we’re not connected to them? We spend so much time in our heads: planning, overthinking, worrying, reminiscing: to the point where it can feel like life is something that simply happens to us. The truth is, we always have agency. Connecting to our senses is what keeps us grounded and in touch with the world, the people around us, and ourselves. We start with the body so we can feel at home and at ease in it, which eventually allows us to meet ourselves beyond just our physical existence in life.

Presence /ˈprɛzəns/

A lack of presence can quickly manifest as anxiety, burnout, jealousy, a sense of helplessness, or a loss of motivation, inspiration, and purpose. Presence is a powerful response to the countless hours of mindless scrolling and the constant stream of information we passively consume daily. Presence is something that must be practiced if we want to live with intention, experience joy, and move toward what trulymatters to us. Without it, life can feel automatic, like something we move through without direction, like something we’re a victim to, which leaves us disconnected and stuck.

  • "The Sense & Presence retreat was amazing. It made me feel so grateful to be alive and in awe of nature and my connection to it. The place itself was magical, and with Adi and Krystsina’s guidance, I was able to work through some personal stuff that had been weighing on me. It honestly felt like a huge knot in my chest just came loose, and I left with so much more clarity and a deeper sense of being present in my life."
